Just a simple turn

During the school summer break NUK art classes is organizing workshops for kids at the refugee shelter
at Wrangelstraße in Kreuzberg. In collaboration with some artists they realize very nice projects for the younger and older kids. Above you can see a simple character moving sequence that I prepared for my upcoming workshop.

Botanical Drawing Workshop
in collaboration with the Prinzessinnengarten

I have taken part in a Botanical Drawing Workshop escorted by Mira O’Brien. During the last 4 weeks she were showing us different watercolor techniques, we have spoken of historical illustrators and their botanical drawings, we have got some very interesting information about plants and trees of the plant-expert Matze from the Prinzessinnengarten, we have made drawing of flowers, cross-sections from fruits or vegetables and we have pressed plants in the style of an Herbarium sheet.

Please check out more about Mira O’Brien and her Workshops at: http://miraobrien.com http://berlindrawingroom.blogspot.de
